And, then we headed home. Once there, something reminded me that I forgot to put on sunscreen. Must have been the extreme heat and sensitivity that I was feeling on my back. Oh well…it was a great day on the river anyway.

Here’s a reply from another “Grand”! By the way, I believe the tune is actually “On the Road Again”…but in this case, BOAT is appropriate!
We also LOVE the pictures and stories…oh, how I wish I was on that boat! The last time we rode it to Jax Landing, it was SUPER FUN!!!! I remember last year, Lainey wasn’t too sure about riding IN the boat, and now she’s JUMPING out of it…wow!!
I love the way you describe each one of our grands under their photo…they all look so much alike (except L.Q.) but their personalities are so unique…they each have their own talents. We wouldn’t want it any other way!!!
Ouch!!! I have ALWAYS hated sunburn, but it seems like it’s lots worse now that I’m in my 60’s…like a burning itch, like I’m allergic to the sun!
So glad that Randy enjoyed a good day taking the boat out, since he hasn’t done it in awhile!

Abbey Girl ~ Granpa & I noticed that…you had FULL control of that knee board and you were serious about it…Good job!!!!! But let us see a little of that pretty Abbey smile while you’re on it next time…:D
