Thought I’d post a picture of the newest family member! We have a hawk that has decided he likes our backyard. About everyday, we look out back and find him perched on top of the kid’s swing set. The kids named him…what else…Swing Set. Very creative of them! He’s beautiful and we enjoy watching him when he visits. I’m glad I’m not listed as a hawk’s prey, because those talons look fierce!

I bet the cats just love him! That is a cool bird. He probably has a story to tell!

Too funny! My kids come up with silly names too. In fact, when we had number four, Sarah wanted to name him “Bubble Ribbit” or “Pilly Polly”, if it was a girl. Thankfully, we never let her name anything…..
