Major congrats go out to our Payton for completing his speech therapy today! He graduated, performing at 100% on all “r” sounds in all positions and levels. Way to go!! He was so excited and we’re very proud of him. Mom is happy that this is one less place we have to visit each week ;)Â
About a week or so ago, a gentleman from our local paper, The Creekline, came out to do a story on us and our adoption of Lainey. It showed up in today’s edition and we’re on the front page. :) You can see and read it digitally, on their site, by clicking on the photo of the front page on the right side of the screen. http://www.thecreekline.com/index.php There are a few typos (Bengbu, not Bengu), but overall he did a great job. It’s a bonus that we’re all looking at the camera and no one is closing their eyes!

Way to go Payton !!! I am so proud of you and can’t wait to hear you saying things like, “Merry Christmas” and “Gram.” You look so proud of yourself with that great smile.
I went to the site with the write-up and could read the first page, but was unable to “turn” page to finish reading the article. (any help with this???) The picture is great. What I did get to read brought back many memories of your journey to have 5 children. Thanks for always having faith in God because now you have this beautiful family and have given me 5 precious grandchildren that I love.

Cool about the local paper article!!! We were interviewed for our local magazine. Anything to help bring attention to adoption is a great thing!! And what a great picture of all of you. :-)

I wanted to make sure I said congratulations to Payton. How wonderfully satisfying. I told Micah and he said “Hooray Payton!” He can’t wait to graduate from speech too.
