Clapton, you’ve got competition

Author: Donna  |  Category: Homeschool

See our budding guitarist, EJ, jamming with his guitar class today.  We belong to a homeschool co-op group called Christ Church Homeschoolers and we have classes every Friday morning.  There is a full assembly between B and C block classes, where all the kids get together.  Today, EJ’s guitar class played “Every Move I Make”.  EJ is LOVING his class, and loved being on stage.  He’s also taking piano once a week here at home, so it’s a very musical year for him.

A shot of the audience…Abbey is in this pic, right side, blue shirt, facing the camera.

Lainey is the youngest child in the 2’s and 3’s class, where I help teach for B block.  Here she is enjoying her favorite part of the day…snack.

Great pictures of EJ! So glad he is enjoying the guitar. We have similar pictures here at our house. Music is such a great skill to have—one that always stays with you.

Love the picture of Lainey during her favorite part of the day. :-) That would be my Abby too!

You should have heard your dad when he saw this picture of Ethan on his guitar!! He was so surprised and happy…also PROUD!! Ethan looks like a pro already!!! We’re glad that he loves it! We don’t have many family members that can play music…way to go, Ethan!!

I squinted and saw Abbey in the picture! That’s quite a crowd there!

How cute are those 2’s and 3’s?!! Lainey fits right in…she looks very happy and content!!

This gives the kids all something to look forward to each Friday morning…looks like they have fun! Love, Mom

It’s great to see Ethan making progress on his guitar. Your coop group seems like a great thing for the kids.
