With Fay FINALLY gone, we actually went outside to play this past weekend…the grass was only a wee bit damp, and it was great to enjoy the unusually cooler weather (which, has gone away and we’re back to crazy HOT as of today). Here, big sis is sharing her snack with little sis. It’s hard to tell, but Marley has poison ivy on her face and neck these days. It finally got so bad, that she was put on prednisone a few days ago. Thankfully, it’s beginning to go away.Â
Someone in our household is signed up for softball for the first time, so she’s getting a few pointers on throwing from dad. Gotta love a black and PINK glove.Â

Well, until Lainey takes away his ball…he doesn’t look like he minds too much.Â
EJ is also practicing, with his baseball games coming up this fall, too. I wonder how many of his games will overlap with her games?

Yes, she DOES look like she has good form for playing soft ball, also Payton & EJ!! I love the picture of Lainey telling Marley to put water on her head! She probably would have loved to walked outside in all that rain you got recently!! Pate, what happened to your basketball…did a cute little sis get it?! Looks like Randy is enjoying the practice session with Abbey! The “sharing” picture of Marley & Lainey is way toooo cute!!
We LOVE getting these pictures of our grandkids, since they’re not 30 minutes away anymore…that still makes me sad, but the photos help. Love you guys LOTS!! Granma & Granpa

You are celebrating dry weather and we have just had close to 9″ of rain today !!! And we aren’t through yet. Chance of rain for next 3 days.
Wow… Payton looks just like a picture of Randy at that age. (I will have to see if I can find it) I know Randy has always loved having Payton and Ethan love sports, but now Abbey wants to play softball. She looks fierce in that one picture.
Love how each of my grands love to take time with Lainey (my newest grand). It just shows how loving they all are.
