Fay

Lots (and lots) of rain, some big gusts of wind, but nothing that would cause us damage, thankfully.  So far, it looks like Fay is sort of going around us, but we’ll see how it goes tonight.  We tied up our little palm tree (beside the swing) and so far it’s holding it’s own.  Fay is a little camera shy, this is the best windy picture I could get…everytime it got really crazy, I’d grab the camera and run outside.  Only to sit there and wait for another one that would never come…UNTIL I went back inside.

So, what do you do on a day where it’s too rainy and yucky to go anywhere and school hasn’t started yet?  If you’re me, you ORGANIZE!  I’ve gone through a few closets and cabinets lately, and today was the pots and pans.  Looks like someone wants to help?!

No, I didn’t put her in, that was totally her idea…she did it quickly, when I had my back turned so, of course I ran for the camera ;)

We’re just so relieved that you guys are OK!! We said prayers that you were safe. I like how the wind blew the fountain! Ami at work told me that you took a picture of the wind…I said that’s kinda hard to do! (But you did it!) Love seeing Lainey in the empty drawer…it fits her perfect! I assume pots ‘n pans are back in there? Hope you guys start seeing some SUN soon! Cleaning out closets and drawers are on my “to do list” too…I’ll get to it one day, but I hope there’s not a hurricane here to force me! (HA) Love, Mom

We were so glad to see Fay go away. Unfortunately, she slapped us around fairly good…
Lainey looks to be having a great time! :)

Donna, Donna, it’s supposed to rain here on Friday…why don’t you come to Colorado and help me organize my horrifying kitchen?!

Well…your pool and my pool are looking pretty much the same!! We had a huge rain/wind storm the other night and it broke some of our palm plants and knocked over my plants etc. The pool is so full the filter is struggling to run!!! I will post a photo, DH already cut the broken palms and tall grass plants.

Glad the storm is past and hopefully no more will find their way to your yard!!
