Yes, I’m a dork and took a picture of my daughter after she got off the bus from her last day of marine science camp. :)Â
She loved it this year even more than last year! She worked (and played) hard and earned a grade of A based on her journal entries and tests. Way to go, girl!!Â
I love sleeping baby pictures…I found her this way one morning when I was getting her up. Notice Tiger, Puppy, and blanket are all very close by.Â
This is from today…the kids had 3 friends over to play after church. We decided this was a good reason to make funnel cake. They agreed! See the chef hard at work in the background, making one for Lainey and I to share.Â
Also, in case anyone has gone back in the archives recently to see our China trip or before, you might have noticed that some of our pictures are very tiny and there are weird squares and/or question marks mixed in with the text. Well, when we made the switch to this new blog, the transferred posts got a little weird. The picture problems, we think, are because Shutterfly (where we store and order our prints from) now only allows the thumbnail pics to be copied over…which, we’re a little bummed about. So, I’m working little by little to delete the little square guys and to try and fix the pictures. Like I have nothing else to do. ;)

Abbey does look like she was happy getting off the bus. Glad she enjoyed the camp so much.
How cute Lainey looks asleep with her little “tushee” poked up ! Do I see “Marley” on the pillowcase?
What could be any more fun than having friends over AND eating home made funnel cakes?? I love the way you all open your house up to all the kids. Just seeing a picture of Randy cooking was worth it to me.

Ann – Yes, Marley is written on L’s pillow case because it used to be Marley’s pillow! I can’t find another travel sized pillow and case for her, so M graciously gave hers to Lainey.

ABBEY! ABBEY! ABBEY!…we’re soooo proud of your test score (A!!) at Science Camp!! So glad you had even more fun this year! Did Kendall enjoy it too?? You look so excited to tell your mom all about it in the “bus” picture! Did you get to wind surf, like you told us about when we were at your house? Sounds like you learned a lot!

How about that funnel cake party?!! Let me guess, is that Emily and Julianna with the girls? Not so sure who the boy is with the boys. I don’t think it’s Jacob. Looks like the funnel cakes were good! Reminds me of the NC State Fair, which will be coming soon! Love, Mom

I think it is great you took her picture getting off the bus. I take pictures of everything too! Missing teeth, cool new hair cuts (mohawk), first days of school, etc…
