Still can’t believe she’s 17 now. Â Is it me, or does it sound so much older than 16?
This was the 3rd year that she chose a certain steakhouse for her bday dinner out. Â We sat at the SAME table, and she sat in the SAME chair all three years. Â Weird. Â We brought the presents to the restaurant…Randy got her this on his last trip out to FL.

Tickets for her and a friend, to go see her favorite country singer Hunter Hayes. Â Who just happens to be opening up for Carrie Underwood. Â Floored is a good way to describe her reaction.

She’s having her party with friends in March, when it warms up a bit. Â She has a great plan…and, I bet I blog about it.

I’m with you Donna… 17 seems quite a bit older than 16 does. I think maybe the shirt she has on also makes her look much older (at least to me). I know she had to be thrilled about the tickets as I would be too. I do love Carrie Underwood.

What a great 17th birthday Abbey had….and yes, 17 DOES sound much older than 16!! Love her new “Property of Florida” shirt…it’s perfect for her and I’m SURE she’ll wear it a lot!
I would say she was a “tiny bit” excited about the concert tickets…HA!! My favorite photo is the close-up of Abbey in between the colorful candles…so pretty!!

I couldn’t help but laugh at the SERIOUS faces on Pate, Dylan, Randy and Lainey as Abbey was lighting her candles. Hey guys…she’s 17 now and certainly knows how to light candles…HA!! And the older she gets, the more practice she’ll have lighting them!!! :)
