Our newest daughter! Our referral call came in at 2:39pm, just as I was about to crank the truck to leave Office Depot with the kids! Here is her information:
Name: Ling Qing (“clear†or “sunnyâ€) Qin (“hardworking†or “diligentâ€)
Birthdate: 7/4/06 (yes, our little Independence Day girl, born 3 days before Marley, Payton, and Ethan’s birthday!)…so, she’s 16 months old at referral time.
Province / Orphanage: Anhui / Bengbu City Children’s Welfare Institute
We’re over the moon excited, joyously happy, and exhausted! We’ll be sure to post more about the call, etc. tomorrow. Welcome, our precious little Ling Qing Qin…we love you so much, and you don’t even know who we are yet. Soon you will be coming to a new country to meet your new family who are anxious to hold you in their arms. It’s so heart-warming now that we can finally put a face to the sweet name “Lainey”. I am still on cloud nine, too. I printed Lainey’s picture and have been looking at it over and over. Each time it brings a joy and laughter to my heart.
In her “mug” shot (randy’s terms) she shows such determination and a longing to say, “Here I am… love me.” And here we all are waiting to do just that. I wonder if Lainey could even dream of the fact that she is going to be coming into a family that wants and loves her so much. That she is coming to America and into such a loving, Christian, wonderful family. I think of all the beauty she we see and the amazing opportunities she will have and can just imagine the joy that will bring into those beautiful eyes that she has.
We have Lainey for Christmas now… if only in the pictures and our hearts. But it won’t be long before she will be in her Momma and Daddy’s arms and brought home to her wonderful sisters and brothers. And to me.
God has now blessed me with 11 grandchildren !! And my heart rejoices in those blessings. I thank God every day for them and for my two wonderful sons and the wonderful “daughters” they gave me when they married.

Congratulations! I don’t know if you remember me, but I was a fellow CCAI’r that got my referral last Jan. Anyway, I found your site awhile back and keep checking to see if your baby was in each batch. So thrilled for you that you finally have the baby that was meant for your family! God is so good!
