I learned today, that the CCAA is finished their review of dossiers through August 31, 2006! Are you wondering what that means? Let me back up…
Once we send our dossier to China, there is a department that does nothing but go through your paperwork, with a fine tooth comb, to check for any problems, mistakes, typos, coffee cup stains (ha), etc. They go through these in the order they are received, and once they finish a batch, they announce it on their website (link for that is on my sidebar, in case you’re interested). Since our LID date is 8/1/06, that means that our dossier had no problems…we’re out of the review room!!
This could be extra great for us, being in the WC program. Our wait time from referral to travel should be shorter, since our dossier is already “approved†by the CCAA! After being a little blue yesterday, this makes my day :)

You do sound much better today. I don’t know why they had to go to all this trouble examining your documents and you and Randy. All they would have had to do was call me and I would have told them what excellent parents you will be for Lainey !!!

We’re praying for you guys! I can only imagine that you probably feel like you have been pregnant for this very long time; and I’m sure that seeing her face is your deepest desire. However when Lainey comes into the Clark household, God promises to you Donna that the timing will be perfect.

Out of the Review Room and onto something BETTER…how wonderful! Glad it took the “blues” away. We think of you guys a LOT lately and pray everyday that Lainey will call soon!! After she’s home and you’re introducing her to her 4 beautiful siblings and let’s not forget Jack (!), you’ll forget about what a long wait it was for her and concentrate on showing her the “ropes” in Florida!!!
