15 Years

Author: Donna  |  Category: Family

It’s our anniversary today! 15 years…wow. We actually met and began dating in 1985. Our wedding day was wonderful. Well, except for the fact that everyone said it was hot (I didn’t notice) and one of Randy’s groomsmen fainted during the ceremony. Randy’s aunt ran down the aisle, one shoe off, to try and catch him. My dad helped her. We were good, and didn’t turn around and look!

Happy Anniversary, Randy!

Honestly, it seems like yesterday that we were planning your beautiful wedding and I had so many mixed feelings that day…I wanted to laugh and cry! I guess it’s time to watch the video again, it’s been awhile! Love you both…see ya Friday…can’t wait!! Mom & Dad

I remember the day very much. We had worked so hard on the flowers. That was a beautiful bouquet, wasn’t it? And so-o-o-o many white bows to make !!! Between one groomsman fainting and another one showing up in white socks… well, it was exciting. You and Randy were so excited about all the late gifts you had gotten that you went and changed clothes after the reception and came back so that you could open them. You looked beautiful and – of course my son looked handsome. Even though I did feel as if I were losing a son that day, just look at what I have gotten in return… you, Abbey, Marley, Payton, Ethan and Lainey (soon) !!! Happy Anniversary and we love you all.
