Out of the blue, Payton comes up to me yesterday and says this…
“You always think that bad things are gonna happen to someone else. Unfortunately, we’re all someone else to someone else.â€
Then, he grins at himself and walks away. Did he NEED to tell me that? Quite profound for an almost 9 year old.

Tell Payton that good things also happen to “someone else” so why can’t they happen to you too.
