Who’s that tubing behind our ski boat??

Yep. That’s Gram (Randy’s mom), forgetting she’s a “grandmother” and taking a turn on the tube. It didn’t take much talking her into it, either. You go, Gram ;)

Pa-Paul got a shot of the kids doing what they call “Rodeo” on the tube. All pile on and hold on for dear life! Wonder where Dylan will fit? (making a note to get a bigger tube…)

Oh my gosh, Ann!!!! You really must be getting better from your knee surgery…there’s no way I could have done that…my neck would have been out of whack!! Way to go…looks like you really enjoyed it!! And the kids…love this look on Lainey’s face!! Looks like a FUN day…glad Ann & Paul got a chance to enjoy the lake before the colder weather came in…or WILL it come in?? I’m sick of the 90’s!!!

    You go Grandma!!! Woot! Woot!

Reminds me of my Nana D. We have a picture of her on our jet ski that I cherish to this day (now that she’s in heaven).

I used to slalom ski and snow ski, but in the past 11 years I haven’t been able to and fear of being hurt normally would have kept me off that tube, but I do have strong arms… So, after watching the kids having such a great time, Randy talked me into doing this. He said that he and Paul could get me back into the boat since my legs wouldn’t have. The way I was laying on the tube, my legs were not even getting bounced much. I also trusted Randy that he wouldn’t “sling” me around and outside the wake where it would have been rougher.

I wasn’t on it very long, but I felt so “alive” and “normal” while in the water (and the grands loved it). I remember that my Dad was on a jet ski two days before he died at age 82. Not a bad way to go, is it?? Not too bad for a 66 year old grandmother of 12 (with lousy legs/knees and eyes). YEA !!!
