Our church’s annual Easter outreach “All Cracked Up” was this past Saturday.\u00c2\u00a0 It started out a little chilly, but warmed up nicely and we all had a good time.\u00c2\u00a0 Lainey stood by the sign like we told her to, but she decided she didn’t have to smile.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Egg hunts were divided by age, and Lainey’s age (the one that Randy and I were in charge of) was planned for the b-ball court.\u00c2\u00a0 The eggs were already out there when we arrived.\u00c2\u00a0 Problem…it was windy on Saturday, and the eggs kept rolling out to the edges of the court.\u00c2\u00a0 Our kids and friends attempted to spread them back out, but one gust of wind and they were right back.\u00c2\u00a0 Oh well, they tried.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ready, set, go!\u00c2\u00a0 See Lainey in the middle?\u00c2\u00a0 We had to prod her to get her out there, and then she basically just walked around like she had no clue what to do.\u00c2\u00a0 ??\u00c2\u00a0 Thankfully, a little boy with a basket full of eggs shared with her.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Call me cheap, but I didn’t buy her an Easter basket (gasp), so we used this pink bag.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re a non-Easter bunny\/Santa\/Toothfairy family so my kids are obviously deprived.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Payton, Marley, and friends help her go through her loot.\u00c2\u00a0 They were looking for a special yellow paper that meant she’d won a prize.\u00c2\u00a0 She did.\u00c2\u00a0 Silly Putty!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After the egg hunts, it was time for a KidStuf show.\u00c2\u00a0 The teens dressed up for fun…the cute little ladybug on the right is Abbey.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Next, was the Manhunt.\u00c2\u00a0 A special egg hunt for the big guys.\u00c2\u00a0 There were gift cards for a certain chicken restaurant (see the cow?) and a golden egg with a Lowe’s card.\u00c2\u00a0 Food and tools…motivation.\u00c2\u00a0 See the guy in the middle with the wide brim hat?\u00c2\u00a0 My guy.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He zeroed in on the sandbox.\u00c2\u00a0 Afterwards, he told us he did find a silver egg, but left it there so a guest could find it.\u00c2\u00a0 Should I believe him?\u00c2\u00a0 :)<\/p>\n

This face wouldn’t lie.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Abbey snatches the camera, and helps prove that I was there.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lainey finds her smile surrounded by her brothers and their friends.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
