{"id":564,"date":"2009-06-28T00:20:46","date_gmt":"2009-06-28T04:20:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.handsful.com\/?p=564"},"modified":"2009-06-28T00:22:52","modified_gmt":"2009-06-28T04:22:52","slug":"mountain-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.handsful.com\/wordpress\/archives\/564","title":{"rendered":"Mountain House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/im1.shutterfly.com\/media\/47b9d806b3127ccec7222c4cd9e500000040O08AYt2bRu1cswe3nwE\/cC\/f%3D0\/ps%3D50\/r%3D0\/rx%3D550\/ry%3D400\/\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We headed out around noon, had an uneventful trip (the best kind, when you&#8217;ve got 5 children), and arrived here in Boone just after the sun went down.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/im1.shutterfly.com\/media\/47b9d806b3127ccec7236af6780000000040O08AYt2bRu1cswe3nwE\/cC\/f%3D0\/ps%3D50\/r%3D0\/rx%3D550\/ry%3D400\/\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The kids did GREAT on the trip here!\u00c2\u00a0 They watched one movie, played game systems, read books, and we all listened to comedians on Randy&#8217;s Ipod (have I mentioned here how much we LOVE Brian Regan?).\u00c2\u00a0 Lainey never once complained or got fussy&#8230;but, she did ask us repeatedly about the &#8220;big mountain&#8221; (signing).\u00c2\u00a0 Her version of &#8220;are we there YET??&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 The kids all ooohed and ahhhed when we caught our first glimpse of the mountains and were literally &#8220;wowing&#8221; every few seconds as we wound our way around, up, and down them.\u00c2\u00a0 Once we arrived at the cabin, they were estatic and kept thanking us for bringing them here.\u00c2\u00a0 We are anticipating a memory-making trip and can&#8217;t wait to get started!<\/p>\n<p>Horseback riding in the morning!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We headed out around noon, had an uneventful trip (the best kind, when you&#8217;ve got 5 children), and arrived here in Boone just after the sun went down.
