Our homeschool group, Christ Church Homeschoolers, had it’s Spring Banquet last night.\u00c2\u00a0 It was so well done, we were very impressed!\u00c2\u00a0 Abbey, Payton, and Ethan were all servers.\u00c2\u00a0 Each table had it’s own server, Ethan was ours.\u00c2\u00a0 Payton has found a new passion – waiting tables!\u00c2\u00a0 He took care of his own table so well, he started helping others with theirs!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Each table had our salads, honey wheat rolls, cupcakes, and little baggies of candy for each person.\u00c2\u00a0 Speaking of the food, the menu was planned and prepared by Chef Jessica (Marley’s cooking teacher and local celebrity chef).\u00c2\u00a0 She was assisted by the other cooking students – Marley had to be at the church cooking both Thursday and Friday to get it all done.\u00c2\u00a0 The main dish was a wonderful lasagna!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ethan shows Marley to her seat – she and the other cooking students were released from their cooking duties so they could eat!\u00c2\u00a0 The servers ate beforehand, in the kitchen.\u00c2\u00a0 :)<\/p>\n

Our co-op leader is Barbie.\u00c2\u00a0 She’s extremely good at her job!\u00c2\u00a0 And, it’s a bonus that she’s just as nice as can be.\u00c2\u00a0 Here she is welcoming everyone and introducing Payton to pray for our dinner.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0He volunteered to do this – the boy loves to pray.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

After dinner, each student received a diploma for completing their grade at CCH.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

The whole group of pre-K through\u00c2\u00a0HS.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0If\u00c2\u00a0you include babies – 3’s, we have 250 kids in the group.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Marley and her cooking class were recognized up on stage by Chef Jessica and presented with cooking tools as a thank you gift for their efforts in preparing the dinner.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t have a decent picture of it, since Marley always hides in the back when she’s on stage.\u00c2\u00a0 Where would she get that from?<\/p>\n

Some goofing around went on after it was all over – my friend Laurie and I get a little cheesy.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
