{"id":336,"date":"2008-09-18T21:49:49","date_gmt":"2008-09-19T01:49:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.handsful.com\/?p=336"},"modified":"2008-09-22T13:47:19","modified_gmt":"2008-09-22T17:47:19","slug":"seven-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.handsful.com\/wordpress\/archives\/336","title":{"rendered":"Seven Months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: top;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3065\/2869138684_c159038ccd.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another month has gone by since that amazing day on 2\/18 when Lainey was placed in our arms.\u00c2\u00a0 We grow to love her more everyday, and continue to be in awe of God&#8217;s perfect gift to us.\u00c2\u00a0 As we like to say, we undoubtedly have the goofiest child from the Bengbu City SWI!\u00c2\u00a0 God knew what He was doing&#8230;our other children are also certifiably goofy.\u00c2\u00a0 :)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tidbits about Lainey these days&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>she LOVES ketchup&#8230;she dips her fry, licks, dips, etc. before actually biting it.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>she&#8217;s always been attached to him, but\u00c2\u00a0dada has been extra special these days.\u00c2\u00a0 She does\u00c2\u00a0the happy dance when he walks in the door!\u00c2\u00a0 He works from home, but lately has had lots of meetings and a few trips away.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>when she gets especially mad or frustrated, she&#8217;ll hit whatever inanimate object is closest&#8230;the table, toy, etc.\u00c2\u00a0 I try not to laugh.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>have I shared this one yet?\u00c2\u00a0 If you tell her to &#8220;talk&#8221;, she immediately sticks her tongue out.\u00c2\u00a0 Kids taught her that little trick.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>a new word&#8230;boo boo (comes out moo moo&#8230;too cute)<\/li>\n<li>she is more frightened of strange noises, especially some toys that make noise.\u00c2\u00a0 This is new.\u00c2\u00a0 On the other hand, big lightening and thunderstorms don&#8217;t bother her in the least.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>she still loves playing with her play kitchen.\u00c2\u00a0 Her favorite thing to do these days is to wipe my face and hands with a napkin after &#8220;feeding&#8221; me.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>When we put her down for nap or nighttime, we have to play\u00c2\u00a0the\u00c2\u00a0Which Blanket\u00c2\u00a0game.\u00c2\u00a0 She has quite a few, and you never know which one she might choose.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;s the same way with her animals&#8230;she might want them all or none.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;s a gal who has preferences.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Potty training is going well&#8230;if we take her right after lunch, she almost always goes.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;s told us (using the universal sign for &#8220;I need to go&#8221;) twice and has gone both times.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Still eats anything, but has her favorites&#8230;oatmeal, graham crackers, Gerber meat sticks, all veggies especially carrots, mandarin oranges&#8230;there are many more!\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: bottom;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3249\/2869138736_dfb248390f.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been meaning to post about this, we changed Lainey&#8217;s room a few weeks ago.\u00c2\u00a0 She used to be in a small room with no closet downstairs.\u00c2\u00a0 We moved her to the bonus room upstairs, with her &#8220;room&#8221;
