We’ve been busy doing fun stuff. \u00c2\u00a0It’s been Spring Break, afterall.<\/p>\n

First off, the boys had 4 friends over for 3 days\/2 nights. \u00c2\u00a0Lots of running around in the woods (in the rain), games on the trampoline, tent camping in our open field, and a TON of food now gone.<\/p>\n

I’m just about recovered from it all.<\/p>\n

We also colored eggs. \u00c2\u00a0The pic above is from our experiment. \u00c2\u00a0Apparently, using shaving cream and food coloring is the way to go, so we tried it.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

They turned out great. \u00c2\u00a0Here are two of them still in shaving cream. \u00c2\u00a0After they chill in the fridge for a while, you use paper towels to wipe them off. \u00c2\u00a0I think my “after” photo is on my phone, I’ll post that later.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Field trip time! \u00c2\u00a0Marley tagged along as we took Lainey and Dylan to a farm owed by another homeschool family. \u00c2\u00a0They held and played with lots of animals, saw a just-hatched chick, rode their horse, and had a fun egg hunt.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Next up…Annual Easter hunt at Gram’s house on Saturday.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

We had a couple of extras join in this year. \u00c2\u00a0We brought Kylie and Daniel, and Caleb’s girlfriend Anna came as well.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

So many watchers this year…we’re down to only 3 egg hunters this year, and next year it’ll just be Lainey and Dylan.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

The big kids read their first clue for the hunt…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Finally, it was Easter Sunday…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

And, that covers \u00c2\u00a0our Spring Break. \u00c2\u00a0I think I somehow missed the concept of “break”…but we had a blast.<\/p>\n
