Or rather, God heard my desire and decided to let it SNOW!<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

It started snowing Tuesday morning, and kept on till Thursday afternoon, with a few hours of sleet in between.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

I know some people hate snow. \u00c2\u00a0I can understand getting tired of it, if you live where you’re buried in snow all winter.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

I love living in NC, where we have all 4 seasons…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

We might get a snowfall or two, but it’s usually gone in a day. \u00c2\u00a0Course, I’m writing this on Saturday, and it’s still pretty white out there.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

I’m also thankful for a husband who was able to bump up his flight home, so he wasn’t stuck in Florida.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Thursday afternoon was our family Snow Day…even Randy joined in. \u00c2\u00a0See above? \u00c2\u00a0The boys dreamed that up. \u00c2\u00a0A snow “thing” that apparently was hungry for a certain boy named Dylan.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

How to get him out? \u00c2\u00a0Push it over, of course.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

“THE COLD NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY!!”<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Abbey’s version of Olaf :)<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

We live on about 19 acres, and our driveway is long, downhill, and winds around our shop building in the back. \u00c2\u00a0Randy had the grand idea to tie our 2 person kayak to the back of his landcruiser and take us “sledding” up and down.<\/p>\n

Genius.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

After kayaking, we took the sleds to the hill behind our shop.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Pelted with a snowball, right before she went…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Dylan watches as Lainey goes down, head first!<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Yes, I’m bundled up to the point of embarrassment.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Marley and Payton, racing…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

It’s never dull with Payton around.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

EJ and Dylan’s turn to race<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Notice Dylan started out on the right…as they went down, he crossed in front of Ethan and ended up crashing on the right.<\/p>\n

I’m so thankful we had our deep snow for the season! \u00c2\u00a0If we get more, that’ll just be frosting on the cake. \u00c2\u00a0Get it? \u00c2\u00a0FROSTing…<\/p>\n
