Cut shapes into pumpkins.<\/p>\n

Eat too much candy.<\/p>\n

And, this year…have a party.<\/p>\n

That’s pretty much what halloween boiled down to for us.<\/p>\n

First, we’ve got pumpkins to carve.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Her own design.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Dylan is a huge Avatar fan, so this is Aang the pumpkin.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

As usual, Randy and the boys have their own creation.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Yes, that’s licorice hair. \u00c2\u00a0And ghourd eyes…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Marley decided to paint her pumpkin, to match her black\/white theme.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

I wasn’t home when Abbey and Randy carved hers…surprise, surprise, it’s a Catching Fire theme.<\/p>\n

Dress up time begins…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

ladies and gentlemen, we present to you…Iron Man and Cat Woman.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

I dropped them off at their friend, Paetyn’s house, for crafts and dinner.<\/p>\n

Drove back to our house to take pics of the big kids and their friends, dropped them off at a neighborhood for trick or treating, and then headed back to where the littles were to walk that neighborhood with them.<\/p>\n

Whew.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Marley, Payton, Ethan, Kailee, and Kylie…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Payton resurrected an old costume from years ago…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Payton, age 9<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Marley cut this design in her black tee …very cool, I think.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Abbey, as an un-dead bride. \u00c2\u00a0Her creation, made from thrift store purchases. \u00c2\u00a0Plus, her talent as a special effects make-up artist.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Ethan and Kailee…she was a gothic barbie doll, and he was just gothic. \u00c2\u00a0Another excuse to wear all black clothing for him. \u00c2\u00a0Just another day, except for the makeup done by Kailee! \u00c2\u00a0(thankfully)<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Tradition is, the kids come home, spread out their loot, and trade away!<\/p>\n

The next night? \u00c2\u00a0Well, we threw a party for the kids and their friends, of course.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

We decorated the Shop, and played games…we wrapped kids into toilet paper mummies, had a pumpkin carving contest, and a “who can hold 4 hot balls in their mouth the longest” game.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

And, a costume contest. \u00c2\u00a0Marley won. \u00c2\u00a0:)<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

They played manhunt out in the woods, too. \u00c2\u00a0Afterwards, Randy played a scary movie in the Shop, and a not-as-scary movie down in our basement.<\/p>\n

Lots of memories made, lots of fun had.<\/p>\n

By the way, WHERE did October go??<\/p>\n
