{"id":2738,"date":"2013-09-02T21:54:45","date_gmt":"2013-09-03T01:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.handsful.com\/?p=2738"},"modified":"2013-09-02T22:06:17","modified_gmt":"2013-09-03T02:06:17","slug":"around-the-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.handsful.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2738","title":{"rendered":"Around the house&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Caught this guy hanging out on my coneflowers the other day&#8230;love his color. \u00c2\u00a0Thankfully, he wasn&#8217;t eating the flowers.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Took this from the back deck. \u00c2\u00a0The field gets cut one day, then a day or so later they bring in this funny tractor attachment that stirs it all up so it dries. \u00c2\u00a0Another tractor comes next to push it into rows. \u00c2\u00a0Finally, it&#8217;s baling day! \u00c2\u00a0I love watching all this, if you can&#8217;t tell.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>We had a few sunflowers this year, including this monster one (see the smaller ones beside?). \u00c2\u00a0We harvested some of the seeds for next year, and will share the rest with the birds.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/__z.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Think we need an extension ladder? \u00c2\u00a0We&#8217;ve been needing to clean the spider webs from around the top windows for a while. \u00c2\u00a0Today, Randy got creative with the tallest ladder we have, an extension pole, and a duster head. \u00c2\u00a0Yes, it made me nervous to watch him. \u00c2\u00a0Wondering about the tire? \u00c2\u00a0We might use it for a tire swing.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Randy finished the mowing today. \u00c2\u00a0This is down by our shop building, with the area in front where we have bonfires. \u00c2\u00a0With as much land as we have, it can sometimes take a couple of days to get all the mowing done. \u00c2\u00a0The boys usually help with another rider and a push mower, but they ditched him today for a day at an amusement park in Charlotte.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Walking back up towards the house. \u00c2\u00a0We desperately need to add more gravel to our driveway. \u00c2\u00a0And, see the very overgrown garden on the right?<\/p>\n<p>And, there you have it. \u00c2\u00a0A few random shots around our house.<\/p>\n<p>I love it here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Caught this guy hanging out on my coneflowers the other day&#8230;love his color. \u00c2\u00a0Thankfully, he wasn&#8217;t eating the flowers.
