Well, not quite. \u00c2\u00a0We were told the rope was 600 ft long. \u00c2\u00a0Randy estimated maybe we were 200+ feet in the air :)<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

On the boat, ready to go! \u00c2\u00a0I wasn’t nervous at all.<\/p>\n

About that…I swear I DO have a fear of heights. \u00c2\u00a0I don’t like being in open, high spaces…like a roof, ledge, mountain. \u00c2\u00a0I mean, the wind could blow me off, right?! \u00c2\u00a0But, (most) roller coasters and zip lines don’t bother me. \u00c2\u00a0I like them.<\/p>\n

However, when we went zip-lining a while back, they also had rope bridges to go across. \u00c2\u00a0I was STILL connected by the ropes that would catch me \u00c2\u00a0if I fell, but the possibility of missing a step and falling even for a second was overwhelming. \u00c2\u00a0I hated those bridges!<\/p>\n

I’ve realized that, as long as I feel “contained” and I don’t have much of a “free fall” feeling, it’s all good.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Letting out the rope…here we go!<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

We were in awe of all the different colors of the ocean below…and we saw a sea turtle. \u00c2\u00a0Randy kept talking about how high we were. \u00c2\u00a0I told him to shut up.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

What a happy, little sail.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

This one gives you an idea of how far we were from the boat. \u00c2\u00a0We were over the water most of the time, but in this shot we were turning and ended up right over the coast.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Then, he managed to get us hovering over our resort! \u00c2\u00a0Very cool…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Those 30 minutes were over so quickly, and before we knew it they were reeling us in.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Public displays of affection…<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

A perfect landing.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Seriously, one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done. \u00c2\u00a0Besides lying beside a pool, reading a book.<\/p>\n

If you ever get the chance, you should try parasailing. \u00c2\u00a0It’s the closest I’ll ever get to flying without a plane :)<\/p>\n
