We&#8217;re the host family for Hayde&#8217;, a sweet 15 year old from Spain.    She&#8217;s been with us for 5 days, so we thought it was about time to introduce her to Lake Norman.  Properly.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Payton decides to join the girls&#8230;<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>They declined his request.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Notice that she&#8217;s smiling in every. single. picture.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>She fell off a few times&#8230;they all did.  Randy prides himself in being able to throw his kids off the tube. <\/p>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<a href=\"\" title=\"\" rel=\"\" class=\"flickr-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm.static.flickr.com\/\/_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" title=\"\" longdesc=\"\" \/><\/a>\n<p>But, she held on valiantly and kept right on smiling.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great afternoon on the lake.  Lots of tubing, swimming, and a little knee boarding.  We finally left as the sun was setting behind the trees.<\/p>\n<p>We hope Hayde&#8217; enjoyed her first time out on Lake Norman.
