Years, that is…with our sweet Lainey girl!<\/p>\n

Taken today, before our dinner out (which I’ll hopefully post tomorrow). \u00c2\u00a0Remember what she looked like 3 years ago today?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Confused little ball of baby fat! \u00c2\u00a019 months old. \u00c2\u00a0It took her a good 3 days to come out of her shell. \u00c2\u00a0And, she’s never looked back.<\/p>\n

Has she been “easy” lately. \u00c2\u00a0Not really. \u00c2\u00a0She loves her new little brother, it’s evident. \u00c2\u00a0But, he’s also cramped her style and position in the family. \u00c2\u00a0She’s working through it.<\/p>\n

She’s had 3 surgeries in her young life. \u00c2\u00a01 in China, and 2 with us. \u00c2\u00a0So far…she has another one next Wednesday. \u00c2\u00a0We have high hopes that it will greatly improve her speech intelligibility.<\/p>\n

And, she’s looking forward to the surgery. \u00c2\u00a0Oddly, even when she knows there might be pain involved (we asked her what happens at her surgery and she signed “hurt”), she likes anything medical. \u00c2\u00a0We think she loves the attention heaped on her.<\/p>\n
