I sound like every other mother, I’m sure, when I say…WHERE did the time go? \u00c2\u00a0Abbey turned 15 yesterday. \u00c2\u00a0Wow! \u00c2\u00a0I look back at pictures of her and wonder “where is THAT little girl?” \u00c2\u00a0Not that I’d turn the clock back. \u00c2\u00a0Yes, she can be a TEEN sometimes (ha), but I love her to pieces.<\/p>\n

This was her actual birthday…we might do a cake this weekend, but her birthday landed on youth night at church which she was THRILLED about (built-in party, seeing your friends, can’t beat it). \u00c2\u00a0On the way home, we stopped to get her a special doughnut.<\/p>\n

Backing up to the night before her birthday, she chose a good ‘ole steak dinner for her birthday outing.<\/p>\n

birthday dessert. \u00c2\u00a0She shared with the rest of us…ain’t she sweet?<\/p>\n

Now, back to the birthday night.<\/p>\n

Present time! Present time! \u00c2\u00a0Open a present and see what’s inside! \u00c2\u00a0Abbey used to heart Blues Clues. \u00c2\u00a0Abbey’s camera died a while back, so here’s the replacement.<\/p>\n

The necklace she hinted about. \u00c2\u00a0A sterling silver key that says “TLW” (true love waits).<\/p>\n

A beautiful young lady…with an edgy side. \u00c2\u00a0She’s proud of that last part.<\/p>\n

Okay, bear with me as we go back even further to last Sunday…the big game. \u00c2\u00a0Yes, I know we LOST. \u00c2\u00a0I’m over it now and looking forward to next season. \u00c2\u00a0Anyway… \u00c2\u00a0Abbey wanted me to post these pics of her and her best buds who came to “enjoy” the game with us.<\/p>\n
