{"id":1513,"date":"2011-01-29T23:39:09","date_gmt":"2011-01-30T04:39:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.handsful.com\/?p=1513"},"modified":"2011-01-29T23:45:08","modified_gmt":"2011-01-30T04:45:08","slug":"2-months-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.handsful.com\/wordpress\/archives\/1513","title":{"rendered":"2 Months!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today marks 2 months since Dylan joined our family!\u00c2\u00a0 What have we learned so far about our little man?\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We learned that he&#8217;s willing to risk bodily injury by copying his little sister.\u00c2\u00a0 Hence, the broken leg.\u00c2\u00a0 But, that&#8217;s all behind him now since he&#8217;s cast free and happy as can be!\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sure who enjoyed his first bath in almost a month more &#8211; him or me!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1567\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5400130014\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5018\/5400130014_62f7c02d42.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1567\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1561\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5400129370\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5051\/5400129370_5502964aa1.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1561\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dylan&#8217;s favorite things to do these days are draw with the dry erase board, blow bubbles, and match colors.\u00c2\u00a0 He loves to find things with matching colors!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1577\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5400132550\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5299\/5400132550_efb71a0d19.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1577\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He loves to show us his belly and yell BELLY!\u00c2\u00a0 We praise him when he eats well, telling him he&#8217;s got a full tummy.\u00c2\u00a0 He grins.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s not gained any weight lately, still holding at 27 pounds.\u00c2\u00a0 The pants in the above shot?\u00c2\u00a0 18 month size.\u00c2\u00a0 And, they were roomy.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s 3 1\/2 &#8211; the boy needs some pudge!\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m adding vanilla instant breakfast powder to his milk.<\/p>\n<p>Holding food in his mouth has all but disappeared, but he&#8217;ll sometimes still refuse to eat a bite of something.\u00c2\u00a0 We can usually encourage him to try.\u00c2\u00a0 And, he eats much more on his own now.\u00c2\u00a0 Last night, he was chowing on chips and salsa :)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1586\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5400133304\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5093\/5400133304_f8d50023fe.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1586\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve heard of a &#8220;sweet&#8221; and &#8220;salty&#8221; tooth, right?\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s got both.\u00c2\u00a0 In spades.\u00c2\u00a0 Not sure if he&#8217;s like that because he didn&#8217;t have many treats\u00c2\u00a0in China, or because maybe he had too many?\u00c2\u00a0 Probably the latter, thinking of how many birthday cakes came through that orphanage!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1576\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5399529303\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5172\/5399529303_7d27386978.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1576\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He loves his siblings.\u00c2\u00a0 Insists on hugs and kisses from each one before he goes to bed.\u00c2\u00a0 Lainey loves him tons, as long as he&#8217;s not taking her stuff.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;s learning to deal with it and we&#8217;re being as patient as possible&#8230;usually.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"flickr-image aligncenter\" title=\"DSC_1598\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/70803758@N00\/5399534729\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5300\/5399534729_e6fbfd982c.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_1598\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What else?\u00c2\u00a0 He learned he can roll his tongue and shows us constantly.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s calling Randy either &#8220;baba&#8221; or &#8220;dally&#8221; &#8211; trying to say daddy, we think.\u00c2\u00a0 He calls Lainey &#8220;Lammy&#8221;, which we think is too cute.\u00c2\u00a0 Water is &#8220;woggy&#8221; and he&#8217;s learning to say\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;up\u00c2\u00a0please mama&#8221;
